month in review

In addition to lots and lots of photographing and editing weddings, I’ve been up to a couple other random, fun things the last few weeks!  October was a blast.  The month started with this styled shoot (just featured on Style Me Pretty!) and a beautiful, emotional wine country wedding at which I got to be an actual guest!

Mid-month, Marlene and I headed to Joelle‘s to eat and drink and cook and photograph.

Alfie comes with me to Joelle’s, where he can hang out with his girlfriend Olive.  And because it’s October, we also subjected our poor dogs to Halloween costumes.  I used to be totally against clothing for dogs, but how can anyone stick to such a belief when there are costumes like this one in the world?  Alfie and Olive, I’m so sorry.  But only a little, because you look adorable when you’re dressed up like cartoon monsters and dragons.

And this is the face that Olive Duff makes after we’ve tortured her with Halloween costumes!  But they had snacks and a relaxing day otherwise, so don’t feel too sorry for these pups.

And as usual, we all logged plenty of studio time, but not without a few photos and fun times with baby Charlotte.

Last week, I snagged tickets for us to go to Orange County for the Wedding Love Tour boutique bridal show.  We made a pit stop at the Oh, Hello Friend store in downtown Fullerton (I could seriously buy EVERYTHING in that store — I love it so much!) before heading to Rancho Las Lomas for the show itself.  SUCH an incredible venue for a wedding!  If you’re thinking about getting hitched in the OC, I definitely recommend checking this place out.

And finally, Halloween!  I got to go trick-or-treating with these little nuggets, my adorable four-year-old cousins.  I love them so.

And now that Halloween is over, we’ll be bombarded with the winter holiday marketing and shopping.  Which I’m kind of okay with.  October through February is pretty much my favorite time of year.  :)

Have an awesome weekend, everyone!  xoxo

October was a pretty good month, mainly because we did get to dress our dogs up.
