Ashley and Sean selected their wedding date to match their hometown area code. Yes, really. It wasn’t intentional, but when presented with options for their civil ceremony appointment at the Santa Barbara Courthouse, they chose July 30, 2020 as a nod to their New Jersey roots.
The happy couple, who now reside in Los Angeles, originally planned to invite their friends and family to their new home on the west coast in celebration of their wedding. But then the COVID-19 pandemic happened, so Ashley and Sean (who have known each other since first grade!) decided their three-year engagement had lasted long enough, and they made it official with a Santa Barbara Courthouse elopement.
It was just Ashley and Sean for their afternoon civil ceremony! After some portraits around the grounds at the Courthouse, we headed to their weekend digs at Belmond El Encanto for some more photos with their sweet dogs, Doris and Daisy.
