Santa Ynez wedding photographer

Erika and Mitchell, engaged over the summer, decided to wait on making it official so they could host their dream wedding later on; they knew a long engagement was in their future. This sweet couple still wanted to commemorate the special chapter of their engagement in a special way, so with the help of fellow wedding industry pros, bride-to-be Erika (also the owner and principal designer of Array Creative Design) curated a day that celebrated her relationship with Mitch as they wait for their big day down the line.

Picnics are a huge part of their weekly adventures (and the context for Mitchell’s July proposal!), so it was only fitting to share an intimate picnic under the peppercorn trees, snacking on small bites from Slate Catering and sipping local wine from Happy Canyon.

Following their picnic, Mitch donned a suit and Erika dressed up in a gorgeous gown by Lihi Hod to read love letters to each other. Private estate Ronna Ranch in Santa Ynez was the perfect backdrop for their exchange of promise rings and sharing their words of love for each other. The rustle of wind through giant palms made it such a dreamy setting!
