As seen on Green Wedding Shoes
The loveliest, most romantic alternative to a “first look,” we’re now convinced, is helping each other get ready for the ceremony. Miguez and KD chose to spend the morning of their wedding together; Jenny did hair and makeup for both beautiful brides, and they helped each other into their BHLDN gowns, put on shoes and jewelry, and spent some quiet moments together before walking down the aisle, hand in hand.
The emotional ceremony was an intimate one; Miguez and KD invited just 30 of their nearest and dearest to share their joy in Ojai (their closest friends served as unofficial bridesmaids in coordinated floral dresses!). Guests enjoyed an alfresco dinner reception, and the brides changed into pantsuits by Zara and Elie Tahari for their sunset portraits in the grove of walnut trees.
This Black Walnut Ranch wedding has taken up residence in our hearts as an all-time favorite. And don’t miss Felicia’s incredible highlight film at the end of the post!
