On a chilly but clear day in late December, Jessie and Matt gathered with just their immediate families at Matt’s family home in the hills of Santa Barbara. It was there, on a small deck with stunning views of the Channel Islands and the Pacific Ocean, the couple exchanged heartfelt words and made their longtime union official.
Jessie carried her grandmother’s handkerchief with a lovely bouquet of ranunculus, lisianthus, berries, and roses by Hogue & Co. and wore a classic, beautiful A-line dress with an empire waist and tulle skirt from BHDLN.
After the sweet ceremony, which was officiated by a family friend, Jessie and Matt shared a glass of champagne with their loved ones inside Matt’s parents’ house before heading out to the bluff on their property for some gorgeous, glowy sunset portraits. It was a low-key, relaxed celebration — exactly what this laid-back couple was looking for with an at-home elopement in Santa Barbara.
It was such a sweet, intimate celebration to witness, and it was a joy to end the year with Jessie and Matt’s beautiful wedding day, watching the sun set over the Pacific Ocean on the stunning California coast.
