Citrus bridal shower photos

Chris and Lauren’s wedding is less than two weeks away!  In celebration, here are some photos from Lauren’s bridal shower (yippee!).

Lauren’s stepsister, Melissa, planned the brunch shower from start to finish using an orange color palette and natural elements.  Amy from Stella Bloom Designs created the garlands of greenery and orange blooms, including springs of kumquats to reinforce the citrus theme. Included in the floral design are blush spray roses, orange garden roses, and ombre orange snapdragons.

The coffee bar offered freshly-brewed coffee with guests’ choice of hazelnut or vanilla creamer. Irish coffee mugs were garnished with yummy glazed donut holes.

Melissa, who is also the owner and baker of wedding dessert company MJB Cakes, also created the goodies for the sweets table: chocolate buttercream cakes, fruit tarts, chocolate macarons, and the bride-to-be’s favorite zebra cookies.

The mimosa bar offered two different types of sparkling white wine, a juice assortment (including blueberry, pomegranate, and Valencia orange), and options for garnishing with fresh fruit. Melissa created all the signage herself; invitations were from Posy Paper Co.

Lauren’s niece, Riley (Melissa’s daughter) will also be the flower girl at the wedding (her little brother, Elton, is going to be the ring bearer).

So cute, right?  Melissa nailed it.  So excited to see what she and Amy will do for Lauren and Chris’s wedding day details!
