Amelia and Andrew celebrated February 29, 2020 with a Leap Day elopement in Santa Barbara! Joined by just their immediate families, A+A asked the groom’s sister to officiate their ceremony at the Santa Barbara Courthouse. Guests stood for the ceremony and watched Amelia and Andrew exchange vows while standing on a rug in the grass. It was a simple, easy, no-frills declaration of their commitment to each other, and it was perfect.
After the emotional, joyous ceremony, the happy couple stepped away for a few newlywed portraits. In order to entertain their families, they devised a scavenger hunt to lead their parents and siblings to happy hour at Test Pilot in the Funk Zone, where they met up with them after wrapping up photos around the Courthouse grounds.
