I traveled to Maui over the summer to photograph Sydney and Mark’s wedding in Lahaina, and it was a DREAM. These babes are two of my favorites EVER and have become true friends to me — I’m so grateful for them!
A couple of days after their wedding celebration at the incredible Olowalu Plantation House, we cruised up to Maui’s north shore to take some post-wedding photos (and admire the sea turtles!) on the beach at Ho’okipa Park in Paia, and then to the stunning Haiku Mill.
Haiku Mill was a sugar cane processing facility built in 1861, abandoned less than twenty years later. In 1986, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places and in the 1990s underwent extensive restoration. Haiku Mill now offers a secret garden vibe among the remnants of the old mill and is a gorgeous spot for wedding ceremonies and receptions.
Sydney and Mark got back into their wedding attire for portraits around the Haiku Mill’s picturesque property after some more casual portraits at the beach at Ho’okipa Park.
Here are just a few favorite images from Sydney and Mark’s post-wedding photos at Haiku Mill in Maui!
