If you’re hitting this post for Kiersten and Ruairi’s Santa Ynez winery wedding first, please check out part one right over here!
I rambled on in part one about how much I adore this wedding. What I forgot to mention is how rad Kiersten and Ruairi are as humans! When we did our photography walk through a few months before the wedding, Kiersten encouraged me to bring my boyfriend along, and when we arrived, Ruairi opened a bottle of wine for us to enjoy as we strolled the grounds of Grassini and scoped all the spots for the wedding day. They also pointed out where Ruairi proposed, and we enjoyed bites and sips at Les Marchands on the drive home.
Now, some more deets on the reception itself… tables were color blocked in four different shades of La Tavola velvet linen (with matching glassware from Borrowed Blu and killer menus from Prim & Pixie). That golden hour light right after ceremony (as you can see in the first portraits in this post) was perfection (the sunbeams through that tree?! Come on!!). One of the groomsmen played an acoustic version of “Harvest Moon” for the couple’s first dance, and the epic dance party that followed was, well, epic.
Now featured on Martha Stewart Weddings! It was a magical day, y’all. I’ll never forget it. Check out part two of this Grassini Vineyards wedding.
